All Great Ocean Wetsuit products purchased directly from Great Ocean Wetsuits or from an authorised retail dealer are covered by our 12-month warranty, subject to the below terms and conditions.

The 12-month warranty on our products will become invalid if any of the following occur:

  • damage to the product resulting from any cause other than defects in materials or workmanship;
  • normal wear and tear from use, including scratches and fading;
  • products classified as “sample” or sold with existing defects made known to the purchaser at the time of sale;
  • alterations or repairs made to the product by a service other than Great Ocean Wetsuits; or
  • you fail to follow the care instructions provided on our website, including but not limited to using or exposing our wetsuits to petroleum-based lubrication substances or similar.

We reserve the right to examine any claimed damages to our products and make the final decision regarding the nature and cause of the damage. If the defect is determined to be the result of customer mishandling or any of the above exclusions apply, Great Ocean Wetsuits will not be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement.

Should the item be covered under our 12-month warranty, Great Ocean Wetsuits will assume responsibility for all shipping and repair or replacement expenses related to the warranty claim.
